The Fool

So Ive started a project where I am designing my own tarot cards, using characters from Dragon Keeper.

Riku is the Fool. She would never follow the white rabbit down it's hole, but a butterfly...

Let's see if I can remember all the symbolism without looking it up...

Okay the butterfly represents chasing a childlike dream
The mountains are knowledge that have yet to be gained
ermm...-looks it up-
Moon represents the subconscious
The hole is the erosion of the mind throgh time and doubt
And though she isn't actually falling yet, it represents throwing caution to the wind.

She is a free spirit without worry and full of optimism while on a new journey. Sees the world with fresh eyes.
General Meanings:
Let go of the things that hold you back and embrace new ideas and take new paths.
In a Individual:
Spontanious, optimistic, light hearted. Either a delight to have around or annoying because they can't be serious.


Reverse
She is cautious before she leaps for she worries about the risks.
General Meaning:
A nervous person who is cautious. Innocence is lost and replaced with paranoia and fear.
In a Individual:
Cautious person, often worries about the world around him. Fights within self to for the right to be free. In a relationship it's a person difficult to get to commit to a relationship.
In a Situation:
Don't take any big risks.
